Barbara Baarsma (Chairman of the day)
Barbara Baarsma is CEO Rabobank Amsterdam and a former Director Knowledge Development at Rabobank where she also headed RaboResearch. In this last capacity she was responsible for the Rabobank-wide knowledge agenda and the development of the knowledge organization.
Alongside her work at Rabobank, Barbara Baarsma is Professor of Market Forces and Competition Issues at the University of Amsterdam and chairman of the bank council of the DNB. She is also a member of the Corporate Governance Code Monitoring Commission, the National Icons Jury and the Advisory Council of the DNB Academy.
Before joining Rabobank she was Managing Director of SEO Economic Research and held a number of ancillary positions as member of the Supervisory Boards of Loyalis NV, Espria and Aon Groep Nederland bv, board member of Stichting Preferente Aandelen Kas Bank and member of the Advisory Board Responsible Investment at PGGM. She was previously a supervisory director/internal supervisor at Woonzorg, St. Elisabeth Twee Steden Hospital, BNN broadcasting company and member of the audit committee of the trade union organization FNV Bondgenoten.

Peter Heshof works as a Zeitgeist trendwatcher and a brand strategist. He will explain that consumer trends are not based on coincidences but are driven by the rhythm of the zeitgeist, the dominant mentality in society.
Peter is the founder of the trend & marketingfirm Bloom founded in 2003 with the mission: building a futureproof brand and organisation together. Making it future-proof by giving insight in the changing zeitgeist and translating the consumer trends to brand, strategy and innovation. He works for leading national and international brand like Koninklijke Landmacht, Unilever, Tony’s and Ahold. He helps these companies with zeitgeist, trendpresentations, future-proof brand workshops and trends-driven ideation.
Eelco Dubbeling is Director of the Dutch Banking Association.
Dubbeling (1975) was born in Groningen. He studied Public Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He held various positions at the intersection of business and politics and previously worked at Transport en Logistiek Nederland and ABN AMRO.
Dubbeling has been working at the NVB since 2007. He has been a director since September 2014. Eelco Dubbeling is married and has three children.
Bauke is partner in the Financial Service Consulting Practice of PwC. Bauke started his career at PwC in the Risk Assurance Practice where he worked in the Investment Management industry. Bauke left PwC to work as an Internal Auditor at Nuon (Utilities) and Wolters Kluwer (Publisher & data company) to return to the FS Consulting Practice of PwC in 2007. Since his return Bauke led multiple projects for all major Dutch banks and several GSIB's as well as regulators. The typical projects that Bauke does are related to end-to-end improvement of the core business of banks from strategy to execution. This involves design and implementation of new client service concepts to core operational improvement. Two key factors in this are Technology and Regulation
Within PwC Bauke leads the FS Customer & Operations team (+/- 40 FTE). The Customer & Operations team focuses on core business of Financial Institutions. Other responsibilities of Bauke comprise co-leadership of the Future of Banking Team as well as the Asset Based Consulting practice of PwC FS and is member of the core account team for one of the major banks in The Netherlands.
Kees Vendrik has been Chief Economist at Triodos Bank since 2017. In 2018, at the request of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, he was Chairman of the Electricity Table, part of the process of reaching a climate agreement for the Netherlands. He thereby supported the commitment of the Dutch financial sector to the goals of the Climate Agreement that was accepted on July 10 by 50 financial institutions operating in the Netherlands. He was previously a member of the House of Representatives for GroenLinks and a member of the Algemene Rekenkamer. He has been a senator since 2019.

Emeric is Partner at Deloitte Consulting and is responsible for Deloitte’s consulting services in Financial Services in the Netherlands. Emeric is part of the Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice. This practice focuses on Corporate Strategy, Digital Strategy, Customer Strategy, Digital Challengers & Innovation and Post Merger Integration/Separations. The Strategy practice works across all industries, Emeric’s focus is on Banking Emeric has more than 24 years experience in strategy consulting, digital strategy and program/project management in complex business transformations in banking. Key focus areas are Wholesale, Corporate Banking, Leasing and Capital Markets
Adam is the Head of Delivery at 11:FS. He has over 10 years of experience in project delivery, predominantly within the financial services industry. Adam has led teams through various project challenges and sizes, from the creation of new business lines through to the development and deployment of customer focused products.
At 11:FS, Adam oversees 11:FS’s client portfolio, including the current development of 2x new challenger banks from scratch. He has also led the creation and build of several greenfield banking propositions for tier 1 banking clients across Europe. His expertise includes Open Banking/PSD2, merchant acquiring and bank licencing.
